HW: RJ 4.2 T.O p. 150-156 chapters 10 and 11
Just so you all know, how the bloggers are picked in this class is prechosen. We started off the day with Henry reading his blog, and then the class corrected it. Then, everyone shared their summaries from last night's reading to their desk partners. A couple minutes later Ulyses (I'm sorry I probably spelled your name wrong) and Ian shared their spectacular summaries to the entire class.
Next, we discussed last night's reading, and marked important moments from the chapter. Ms. Nakada talked about how if Darry's parents hadn't died, then he may have been in college. We then talk about when a police officer stops Ponyboy and Dally at the hospital, but they aren't in trouble.
After we went over chapter nine, the class went into reader's workshop. Many people read The Outsiders. Sophie read The Hate you Give. Edie read Nineteen Minutes. And finally, Ulyses and Katie were playing rock-paper-scissors.
Today is a short day, so the blog is not as long. Also, period 3 is now up to nine points, only one more point to go. But I hope you all enjoyed this blog :). Now, we are packing up for 4th period, so I now say farewell.
