Book projects due Friday!

Hey y'all. This blog might be really short, since it's Tuesday, and I'm a very slow typer. First, we corrected Gabby's blog (great job, Husband). Then, we all took out our books for reader's workshop, and Ms. Nakada checked our reading journals. Gabby just blew me a kiss (love you). Raven was reading Lord of the Flies, Olivia was reading Patina, Sophie was reading The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Amanda was reading The Sun is also a Star, Gabby was reading The 5th Horseman, Nicholas was reading Dead Mountain, Owen was reading Bull Run, Guadalupe was reading The Sun is also a Star, Jason was reading Ghost, Jacob was reading Patina, Emma was reading It's Kind of a Funny Story, Ulyses was reading Grenade, Sammarah was reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Yasmine was reading Looking for Alaska, Sam was reading Ghost, Sean was taking an AR test, and everyone else was either not reading or I couldn't see what book they were reading. Don't worry, I'll get to them.

After, we took out our English notebooks and talked about the article we read yesterday: "The Poverty Myth." We discussed the stereotypes of low-income students and how to undo those stereotypes. Next,  Ms. Nakada told us about the next prompt: "Do the Curtis brothers support or counter the poverty myth?" Ian said something about Darry, but the bell starting ringing for 4th period.

Thanks for reading my blog! Byeeeee.
